All major U.S. airlines fly into Guatemala City (GUA). Non-stop flights are offered from Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, Virginia, New York, Dallas, Houston and Miami. U.S citizens only need a valid passport, but other nationalities may require a visa.

Getting around . . .
We do not recommended you rent a car while in Guatemala since getting around can be very confusing and dangerous. Affordable shuttles get you wherever you need to go the second you arrive in Guatemala.
Please arrange travel with one of the following shuttle companies. You might also want to check with your hotel to arrange travel to and from the airport.

I want to comment that Spirit Air flies non-stop to Guatemala from a few US cities and their fares are very competitive, so I suggest your guests check them out.
